Madison Marathon by the numbers 📊:
Marathons are hard. Signed up on Monday, ran on Sunday. It wasn’t on the schedule but the thought of running my first stand alone marathon in my hometown was too exciting to pass up. I definitely lacked the fitness necessary to close out the final 10k but it was still a lot of fun! 2:32 and 3rd place Overall 🥉on the windy and hilly course. Very happy with that after a mediocre performance at Los Cabos 70.3 last week. Maybe went out a bit hot with a 1:13 first half 😬 but live and learn. It felt easy at the time 🤣. Thanks to @kittytorrison for the support out there 😘 and everyone else who yelled my name as I ran by. Today I felt very thankful to my body for allowing me to do these crazy things. #marathon #madisonmarathon #running @madisonmarathon
